A safe space for you to explore what is present in the moment. What lives within you, the feelings, the patterns, the many parts of you that have been trying to be heard. Guided by mindfulness and the wisdom of the body, we slow down together, bringing compassionate awareness to your experience.

Welcome

Finding your way here takes courage. Whether it was a moment of crisis, a quiet sense that something isn't right, or simply a feeling that you want more from life. Life can shake us in ways we never expected.
Anxiety, grief, anger, emptiness, or a disconnection from the life force that makes us feel alive. Sometimes what we experience isn't just one feeling, but many, pulling in different directions, often at the same time. Parts of us that long to be seen, others that protect, withdraw, or fight. When these parts are in conflict or feel disconnected from each other, life can feel fragmented.

My approach, Core Process Psychotherapy, is rooted in mindfulness and the wisdom of the body. Together we slow down, listen inward, and let sensation become the guide, moving from the noise of the mind into the quieter, deeper knowing that lives below.

Our first meeting is a gentle beginning, a 30 minute conversation where we simply get to know each other, and feel whether this is the right space for you. Sessions are £50 for an hour. I sometimes have space for reduced fees, please don't let cost be the thing that stops you from reaching out.

Mindfulness Core Process Psychotherapy

My approach, Core Process Psychotherapy, is rooted in mindfulness and the wisdom of the body. Together we slow down, listen inward, and let sensation become the guide, moving from the noise of the mind into the quieter, deeper knowing that lives below.

Buddhist psychology and mindfulness practice underpin this work. Teachings are drawn from different Buddhist sources and lineages to create a broad vehicle for the training of psychotherapists, which is integrated with Western personality theory, psychodynamics and psychotherapy skills.

Ecotherapy

Ecotherapy, also known as nature-based therapy, is a therapeutic approach that integrates the healing power of the natural world into the psychotherapeutic process. Grounded in the understanding that our connection to nature plays a vital role in emotional and psychological well-being, ecotherapy invites individuals to engage with the outdoors as part of their healing journey.

Research and clinical experience show that spending time in natural settings can help reduce stress, improve mood, enhance self-awareness, and foster a deeper sense of connection to oneself, others, and the environment. It can take different shapes; walking in the woods, sitting together in nature, meditation…

We will first meet online or in person in my practice in Bristol to go through a risk assessment and agree where is the best place to meet outdoors. Options like Leigh Woods in Bristol or Deer Leap near Priddy are available.
